Oakley Grange Pumpkins

Basil and I toured some of the entries to the Shepshed Sheepscare Festival, even walking up the hill of Loughborough Road to Iveshead School and back down past the church. The knee survived. 

I was very impressed by the variety and originality of the entries. People had put their hearts and souls into the project. You should be able to view the photos on Facebook here. 

I'm only sorry that I couldn't get round to all the entries.

I adjourned to Oakley Grange Cafe for a refreshing cuppa where I saw this wonderful display of pumpkins. The weathermen are predicting a colourful Autumn, more akin to that seen in continental rather than temperate climates.
