star trails

having a long weekend in Exmoor staying in a lovely B&B . After dinner tonight walked up a nearby hill to do some night sky photos. We could see the Milky Way and masses of stars but it was hard to get them close to any foreground interest, especially the Milky Way that seemed directly above us. Tried out a series of shots with my timer to create this star trail.
