Another Blip of desperation. No idea what's caused those wee spots.

Frustrating day wasted, or another one, of trying all manner of approaches at sorting out Microsoft Windows colour profile and monitor issues that have be a bane to work around for several years. Still not resolved. Reckon it was all caused by a monitor driver that was 'updated' by Microsoft an age ago.
