Last night

Surely last night was the worst my sickness will get. Yes, I know things can always be worse, but it was so bad that it seems improbable that it could realistically get worse than that.

I get tomorrow off as a holiday but I will try to work from home anyway. I knew I wouldn't be able to successfully work today.

When I came back from Peru I overloaded my hard drive. Last night, while I was not sleeping, I copied my hard drive. Today I installed a new, larger but slower one. (I've done it before, when you know how it is remarkably easy.) Now I can use my computer again. I'm enjoying going through some pictures of my trip. It doesn't require a lot of cognitive ability. It is soothing. I have pictures of me with dinosaurs, pictures of vicunas, pictures of llamas, and glorious landscapes.

One of my neighbors decorates grandly for Halloween. This last year their tree, which they used to give a face and limbs, died. The skeleton is a new addition to the neighborhood. I'm glad I got a shot before they gave it a crown and sash though.
