Pink October : Walking by Lake Hayes

The walking group headed over the Crown Range to Lake Hayes.  We walked around the lake.  There was a very cold wind blowing, but we soon warmed up.  Thank you Piano Lady for wearing pink!  The track around the lake is 8 k's, with a bit of flood water at the southern end.  We stopped for a welcome cuppa at a local Arrowtown Cafe before heading for home..  Another great day out.

The extra missed the cut because the Kowhai tree is yellow!
