"The River Linnet"

The riverbed near our house is normally about 3" deep but after the heavy rains on Wednesday it has risen to at least 3 feet! I'm glad in a way Bracken is just a "looker" and not a "lover" of deep water as it makes for a much cleaner dog to bring home. He may surprise us one day and venture in but he hasn't shown any signs of bravery as yet!
