Birthday cake

It was my granddaughter's second birthday during the week and she had a party to which she had three little friends to join her along with her other grandparents. The weather was sunny so fortunately were able to play out in the garden.

I made a Gruffalo birthday cake which is her favourite character. I took lots of photos of the party but don't want to post other children without parental permission so this was the only one that I could find that filled the bill!

They all had a good time and the adults enjoyed it too! 

I travelled home afterwards as the motorway traffic was quieter than waiting until this morning. It was a lovely weekend, I really enjoyed sharing it with them.
