Pigeon amongst the shadows.

I visited the well-preserved model village of Saltaire near Bradford. The village was named after its founder, the nineteenth century mill-owner Titus Salt. He built his factory and the village to house his workers, close to the River Aire.

The model village was one of the first and most extensive of its kind in the world and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Sight.

The United Reformed Church in Saltaire is a Grade I listed building and was completed in 1859. I have included a few more images of it here.

The blip shows a section of the semi-circular front portico. The window is between two of the Corinthian columns.
