Schizostylis aka Kaffir Lily

I don't remember buying this plant or being given a cutting but the rather straggly green leaves have suddenly been joined by these rather lovely red flowers. The weather today has been rather wet and wild .... do hope the flowers survive.

My grass is now covered with fallen acer leaves but they will remain on the earth and grass until they dry up a bit and then I'll be out with my magic hands scooping them up.

Tomorrow is looking like another wet day .... glad I've got a new pair of waterproof trousers!
