Swan Lake costume

They’ve finished a lot of the alterations at The Royal Opera House and this is the Odette costume from the successful production of “Swan Lake”. It’s outside the remodelled restaurant nea the high up Amphitheatre and it all looks lovely and new.

I went to the final dress rehearsal of “Mayerling”. It was brilliant. I can’t afford to be as addicted to ballet as I am to opera!

The lead male actually dropped the ballerina during a difficult lift ! At first I wasn’t sure but I checked with my more knowledgeable friend and she said he had.... never seen that before....
