Oscar and I had a lovely morning walk in Cotehele - he chased the ball and I retrieved it  several times from places he wouldn't go alone! My blip is the house on the way down into the woods - just love those leaded windows!
I called in on The exile - the van had arrived and all her stuff was now in the house. Party Girl, Friends children and one of their  partners had helped and we were given a tour of the van they had done up for travelling. What an incredible job, solar panel, sink, hob, lights, bed, settee and a stick burner for warmth!
We had a cup of tea in the h=garden and then I began to feel funny - I needed lunch! For some unknown reason I felt tearful in the afternoon, but I pushed it away and prepared dinner and a brioche and apple bread pudding before going up with Oscar to do the hens. The Exile arrived on time for dinner and we caught up with Dark Earth Rising - but it was a couple of weeks since we last watched it and we were both a little confused with the story line! As the evening wore on I realised I was coming down with a cold - that was why I had felt tearful! Always happens as a precursor to coming down with something and I never learn! By the time I crawled into bed my nose was dripping like a tap and my throat felt as if it had been slashed with razor blades. Thankfully Oscar had not had a manic session in the eve, in fact he had slept in his bed in the kitchen as we watched TV! I hoped he would sleep all night as peacefully!
