Autumn colour

I was supposed to be at a big WI meeting today with members from all over Surrey. The speaker was Tricia Stewart, one of the original Calendar Girls. That would have been good to hear, but sadly I have a horrid cold/cough and would have been very unsociable. I look forward to hearing from friends about the meeting.
So I spent the day at home, catching up with housework, correspondence and email. One letter had to be posted (remember that?) and on my way to the post box I passed this very colourful maple, good for a blip.
