Poppies: Weeping Window

I last visited the Imperial War Museum ten days ago when the poppy display was being created. I revisited today to see the finished article.

The Weeping Window is a cascade comprising several thousand handmade ceramic poppies that were originally at the Tower of London. IWM North currently presents Wave. 

At the end of the tour they will become part of the Imperial War Museums’ collection.

This afternoon I went for a 5 km run up to and around Battersea Park.

This evening it was a visit to Covent Garden and to Fortnum and Mason.

The Coca Cola London Eye (yesterday's blip) has reverted back to red.

34,410 steps
