Dunwich

Dunwich is such a fascinating place as well as being very beautiful. We spent a few hours here walking along the beach, looking around the museum and eating lunch. The light was stunning making the lighthouse at Southwold glint in the sun. The story of a Dunwich is so interesting with most of it having disappeared under the waves of the North Sea including the Church which finally fell into the sea in 1919 .
We came home via the edge of Norwich as I wanted to just see a bit of High Ash Farm at Caistor St Edmunds whch is run environmentally by Chris Skinner and Daniel Skinner . Chris appears weekly on Radio Norfolk in a Programme called ‘The Countryside Hour’ which I listen to as a podcast and love.
