Bar Tailed Godwits

We went to RSPB Marshside for a look at the birds this morning. It’s just north of Southport and is mainly saltmarsh on the south side of the Ribble Estuary. We went into the hide from where there are good views of the lagoons. The main birds are Pink-footed Geese, Lapwings, Teal, Widgeon and Bar Tailed Godwits which took to the air so I could get a clear shot.
