2018 Sunday — Tiramisu

After feeling quite sick since Wednesday evening, I really didn’t feel like cooking, but I definitely felt like eating.

Late in the afternoon we had driven north a few miles to the community of Eastvale to look for shade cloth to hang on the chainlink fence that divides our backyard from our neighbor’s yard. Our neighbors already have shade cloth on their side, but it’s quite worn and ugly. So we’d like to cover our side with a new better looking cloth.

Once our purchase was made, I told Mr. Fun I was hungry. So in the same shopping complex there is a Johnny Carino’s Restaurant. We did a quick look online at their menu and made the decision to stop there for dinner.

When we finished eating the waitress asked if we’d like to see the dessert menu. Mr. Fun said “No” and I said “Yes.” The tiramisu was delicious and we cut it in half and the one who had said, “No” had no problem devouring his half of a very large dessert. It was definitely a lovely way to celebrate the end of this first weekend in October.
