This Is How Terns Do It.....

.....on a windy beach.
Headed south to meet a friend ......a walk on was in order.
To get to our favourite beach spot I circumnavigated pot holes so large one could order Yum Cha from China from them...not to mention the scratches on my car from feral bushes.

What a show....serious mating was going on amongst the Terns...first of all he jumps on her as if tenderising her then launches in to full throttle in flagrante ...does another little dance on her back...jumps off looking very proud of himself and then folds his wings in a very strange way which made him look like an origami tern.....magic.

There were so many pics to post...the beautiful shapes their wings make when they take to the sky (extra)....a red legged sand piper taking a bath in a rock pool........the mist the waves made...so many things.....Simpson clouds in the sky...I can go on.

On the way home I dropped in on my ex for a quick cuppa .......3 hours later...after we laughed and caught up..talked photography.......and generally flapped our gums till we just had to call it a day....I headed north and made it home just before dark.
Tired now and getting ready for an early night......going up to the big smokes Brizzie tomorrow with the kids....we are going to the Art gallery and going to try our best to get an early start.
