Still flowering but looking pretty bedraggled. Despite the onward march of autumn there's still quite a bit of colour in the garden. Cheery, especially on such a grey, wet day.

Thanks to everyone who got in touch yesterday to commiserate about Maxwell's demise. It seems strange not having a cat around but we'll get used to it. I'm away to collect the three year old from nursery soon. I wonder what she'll make of it. Next to Otter, Maxwell was one of the best toys in the toybox.
