Curzon Street (Monday 8th October 2018)
This virginia creeper is beside the drive next to my neighbours at Heather Banks. The telegraph pole behind it is what brings the internet into my home, along with all my fellow blippers. I thought about Mono Monday with its theme of 'Seasonal', which it is, but couldn't deprive the leaves of their colour.
A few doors up I saw that work is continuing at the Sutton, Builder house. I'll have to blip it again when it is complete.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Pink Floyd - Matilda Mother (recorded 21 February 1967, Abbey Rd Studios, London)
Syd Barrett wrote this song quoting from Hilaire Belloc's Cautionary Tales, but his estate did not authorise use of the lyric, so Barrett had to write new lyrics and re-record sections of the song in June before it could be released on the debut album, Piper At The Gates Of Down. Richard Wright provided the lead vocal with Barrett joining in.
The estate later relented and the original version was released on a 40th Anniversary edition of the album, and in this longer form on the box set The Early Years 1965-1967 Cambridge St/Ation which I listened to on this day.
