Helping out on the pay desk

My turn to help out at the Art at the Altar today and again tomorrow afternoon. A little quieter today in terms of people but still plenty of interest. I've sold one or two things but not much so far - people are tending to look for little bits and pieces - jewellery and things for the tree but I don't regret getting involved. It's been a new experience and I've met some lovely people. The church got colder and colder as the afternoon wore on - so I hope the evening shift managed to get some extra heat. They'll be there still!
