I Went Along

I wore today for the first time a coat that belonged to my late mother-in-law; she died over 3,5 years ago. In the morning bus, when searching a tissue in the pocket, I found a shopping list in her handwriting:

eggs
flour mix for buns
2 yeasts
milk 1 + 1
crushed pineapple
salmon cubes

My kids still find the smell of their grandmother on her old clothes that I wear now.
