Always smiling....

On Monday Gail goes into The Royal Marsden for the next stage of her treatment; her stem cell transplant. She will be there for three weeks of intensive chemotherapy and the transplant. Wonderfully, last week, as the result of 5 days of a blood cell boosting infusion and a real answer to the prayers of many people,  she managed to produce a record number of cells and enough for 4 transplants! She has myeloma, a blood cancer.

She will be out of action for some time from next week. Today we had wonderful visit to Pashley Manor Gardens in Ticehurst, Kent. The house is privately owned but the gardens are just delightful and so much is still in full bloom. My photo is taken by the side of their private swimming pool which deserved a showing. However I wanted Gail to be centre stage. Yesterday, she insisted on driving herself to a coffee meet with some ex colleagues. No giving in with this lady!

It is so good to see and read how Evie is getting on with her chemotherapy. She is smiling too! And she too is much loved!
