In which: gratifying

I took my year 13s to a local university today so they could research their EPQs (an extended A level project).

I saw one student who’d just finished at my school and said ‘now I’ve left, can I hug you?’ and then was so excited about her Occupational Therapy course.

Then I saw a student who I taught 14 years ago. She has had a long & difficult road but is now just starting a primary teaching degree after I helped with her UCAS & reference.

It was so lovely to know what I do has helped them in their paths.
