Ladybird Invasion!

Today I was in and out of the front door blipping my neighbour's lovely tree, lit by the bright sunshine.  It was such a good day that Tony felt able to do a couple of slow walks to the end of the street where we stood awhile to enjoy the view before turning for home.

Back in the kitchen the ladybirds have returned in what has become their annual pilgrimage to find a warm corner to hibernate.  I went out to bring in the washing and they were all over the back wall and the kitchen door, trying their best to fly in when I went back inside!  Becky was kept busy gently removing them and putting them back out on the flowerpots but I think it will be a losing battle.
