This Shoe

It's amazing how we can walk past something everyday and not see it. This shoe, I first saw this morning, I unknowingly pass by everyday, yet today, there it was, just sitting there filled with water from the overnight showers. I suppose our reading of scripture works in much the same way. We can read a familiar passage on any given day and find a fresh new message in it. It speaks well for those that understand scripture as alive and breathing.
