Arriving at Derby Station I was offered a small cake (declined) and this plastic coffee cup ( empty except for a voucher for when I next came to Derby Station).

They were celebrating the completion of their re-signalling programme.

Sadly the first tannoy announcement was that the train to Matlock had been cancelled due to "slippery lines"
