The Emirates Effect...

I just noticed that I'm going through what I shall refer to as the Emirates effect. When we went to Australia a good few years ago, we flew with Emirates and instead of the one or two films that everyone watched on a big screen, they had small screens built into the back of the headrests which you could watch, on demand any of a raft of films you'd like. I gorged on it.

We recently aquired a bag full of old dvds and I've now been gorging myself on oldish crappy films. I've been through Deep Impact, Top Gun, Cool Runnings and Apollo 13. I'm currently on W (DubYa) and have a 'to watch' pile containing Uncle Buck, Armageddon, Air Force One and Quantum of Solace.
