The long way to work

So the garage have finally found out why the Edge is chucking out smoke, and yes it is a fault with the DPF system.

So the car is still with them, whilst they get the parts fitted and tested; which did mean they now had a courtesy car for me.

I needed to be in Cheltenham today, and couldn't steal the wife's car; so walked to the bus stop, and the next, and the next. Then eventually got an overcrowded steamed up sweaty bus to the city centre. Then a walk along the harbour to Ashton Gate to pick up the car.

Could have done with it being a bit chillier mind, especially after the bus!

Still, was a nice walk along the harbour.

Hopefully get the car back tomorrow and give it a good run out to check it has been cured!
