Glossy!

Another morning at Castle Espie, the most amazing autumn day, bright sunshine, slight breeze, just a perfect morning.
The geese were there in their thousands, and the noise was phenomenal, even when the tide was out, you could still hear the geese. There were also plenty of gulls, a smattering of black tailed godwits, Curlew and oyster catchers, with a few egret and herons thrown in for good measure - but today's blip is this glossy and beautiful cow, a heifer I think as she looked quite young. I thought she looked wonderful with the sun on her smooth black coat :-)
