Quaint within the Qurap!

This is a hotel I came across as I took a different direction to class tonight. It may not look particularly interesting out of context, it’s just a cute, picturesque hotel that has a tea room attached; but the rest of the street looks like Beirut on a bad day with some crack dens thrown in for good measure. Basically, not the kind of street you’d want to walk down in daylight let alone night time.

After a shite day, this evenings writing class has buoyed me up no end and the cherry on top was amazing feedback on last week’s flash fiction. We have a new, longer piece to write for next week. Exciting!
