Cairo as Usual

Left our house in Barcelona at 4.00am, landed in Cairo at 4.00pm, travelling via Rome as usual. Arrived at the flat in Cairo at 6.30pm with the usual Cairo traffic. Our last stay was here in February and so a longer gap than usual in-between visits. Our room in the flat provided by the school looked clean enough at a first glance, but a second glance showed that it needed a pretty good clean as usual. Thank goodness we keep all our own stuff in two big locked cupboards, well-wrapped to protect it from the Cairo sandy dust. We're now half-unpacked, bed made and have got our local phones working and Egyptian sims in our iPads and that took about an hour as usual in the Orange shop on Midan Messaha. Nothing unusual about today!
