....except for spiders. I am very proud of Rieke for being such a good sport and volunteering as a prop for the unexpected opportunity to get a shot for Wide Wednesday and at the same time for Wild Wednesday. She was well aware of the dangerous spider but kept telling me she was alright as long as she got a special treat right after the click. 
The closed off area is an extension of my neighborhood and in a few months there will be about eighty new homes. Who am I to complain. Two years ago my property was part of a wide open space with an abundance of bushes and brambles and wildflowers - a haven for wildlife.
