"Active, but dormant volcano"
Here's a blip from the summit of El Teide at 3,718m, looking down into the mouth of the crater. It was an amazing climb up and even though we started at 2,200m, it was still quite a tough climb, especially the last 100m. It's the first time I've been at such a high altitude and the lack of oxygen made for hard work climbing, but well worth it!
