Out for dinner at The String again tonight, would highly recommend, delicious food, lovely people. This doorway was nearby.

A full day with a trip to Fetlar to see the Snowy Owl, a life tick for both of us but a long way off so definitely no photo . Also a Peregrine, and then a Snow Bunting hopping around the parked cars. 

Back on Yell later we saw the Swainson's Thrush, which we missed this morning in the rush to the ferry from Yell to Unst, having only given it 10 minutes to show itself. And a beautiful day, warm and sunny with blue skies once the fog had cleared.

Extras: I may have blipped this boat in a previous year, but it's still hanging on. And my record shot of a dung heap and cabbages, errr, the Swainson's Thrush. Far better ones by decent photographers can be found on the internet ....... And stooks, just love 'em.
