Farewell to K207

Back to Edinburgh today after being through yesterday evening. This time it was a farewell lunch for an Open University module with which I'd had an involvement. Anyone who has the slightest knowledge of the OU will remember that every course, module and programme has a code. K207's name was Social Work and the Law in Scotland; now rewritten and replaced by a brand new module.

It was lovely to be invited to join in giving the old module a good send off with past and current associate lecturers, module chairs, the current local manager and the curriculum manager. A lovely lunch though the train home was cancelled making me miss yoga. Maybe just as well given the size of the lunch I'd eaten.

And just to be clear, no public money was spent. Everyone was happy to pay for a sociable couple of hours reminiscing about working together.
