Stove

The sitting room stove got it's first light today. The surround is coming along nicely too. It is slate that had several coats of paint on it. So husband has stripped it back to slate. The new hearth is also slate and they look great. Hope to seal the slate tomorrow and grout between the slate slabs in the hearth. We did manage to put the sitting room back together and even rearranged the furniture so it works better. Need to buy a nice rug for the floor in there now too. And add it to the redecorating list.

While we were in the sitting room the electrician was busy in the kitchen upgrading the fuse box so no power today and very limited cups of tea!! Dogs were in the pick up and trailer out the way.
