FRONT GARDENS
I needed to tidy up my pocket-handkerchief front garden before the weather changes and all the rubbish bags get wet and soggy. We don't have enough space - or enough waste - for a council garden waste bin. It just means that about three or four times a year I have to take half a dozen sacks to the recycling centre, which is OK. I don't think many other people in the square bother with their gardens. Some are paved over and others just neglected. That hydrangea next door carries on regardless of the complete lack of any form of interest from my neighbour.
