Abstract Thursday: "Time Tunnelling"

I was out with the Heritage team today, and I'm going to claim a fit with this week's optional AT theme of "architectural" because we were investigating...a wall! The wall (fragment) in question, which juts out from several layers of more recent wall built on top of it, is thought to have been part of a building that dates back to at least the early 1200s. Unfortunately we couldn't complete the investigation and confirm that today because, in one of those tragic archaeological accidents, two of the team got sucked into this temporal vortex... ;)
