The Opening

We had a quiet morning in the hotel. Breakfast with the team at 8 am and then a lovely dog walk around the village and a couple of hours rest.

Then at noon, we went to the European Championship venue and from that on everything was super hectic. 

We had to get us selves organized in the hall and get all our stuff in and ready.

The we went to have the dogs' micro chips scanned to make sure everyone is competing with the right dog. 

We then had 4 mins of training in the ring with each of the dogs. Hero and I shared my training time with Helle, so we had 8 mins in half a ring rather than just 4 mins alone in the ring. Gollum shared with a snauzer from the freestyle team.

Then there was a briefing and shortly after it was the opening ceremony.

We opened good luck presents and cards and then we had a meal.

Home to the hotel and now it is bedtime. It is 10 pm.
