Chang chang changitty chang sha-bop

Today was a nice day.

Boy stayed over with us... he was going to go home, but after a few beers on the couch with his Da, he decided to kip on the couch, and so it was that I was lulled to sleep by the snoring of both my boys :-) (They'll tell you it was me, but it so wasn't). 

Both Boy and J came back to pick us up about 12, and we headed off to The Basics for Brunch.  These Brunches are going to be the death of me. 
 
We bimbled round downtown Wilmington - checking out the shops and the shore front.  There is a lot which is still flooded.  Places closed due to water damage - but generally it's all still very pretty and getting all fixed up as people work around it. 

Wilmington was used as the background for two US Dramas - One Tree hill and Dawson's Creek.  -  If we had watched either of them, we might have known that where we had brunch was one of the locations included.  But we didn't.

Then it was back to the house for Showering... and changing and we were meeting the "in-laws", so to speak .  (no Big announcement folks..)

We met in one bar, and then headed for eats.  

I had brought some Scottishness to pass on - Arran Aromatics and Jura Whisky.   We all chatted and got to know each other - and D and Himself got into discussion about Second Amendment and Trump.   D and I sat and watched as they chatted and hoped that it didn't get macho, and  it didn't.  They seemed to reach agreement on Politics and agreed to differ on guns :-)   It was all lovely. 

We visited a brilliant bar - Pour - One barman.   Hand over your credit card.  Get a wristband, and then help yourself to the beer or wine or cider pumps all over the place - you can have as little or as much as you like!  it was very cool. 

I was on my best behavior.  No Drinking.  Well Someone had to do the driving in the evening.
