Thrilled Again

While in Ohio I got a big thrill seeing a green heron on a little stream while I was doing a little boardwalk stroll.  Today, after my joints apt, I stopped by the waters near the University Of Washington Arboretum.  It's a spot I can often spot wood ducks which was my hope for today.  I even lugged along my big 600mm lens having high hopes.
    But I saw very little of anything....then I spotted this wee green one nestled in between lots of lily pads perched on a litltle stick.  It was hard to see and at first all I saw were lily pads in the lens..  I kept moving it around and sure enought this little guy was there to my delight!  Thrilled again!!!  Another just a bit closer in extra
