Flying Sand

In the photo above, the streaks at the lower part of the photo are particles of sand flying up the beach.  The extra shows the same phenomenon with a slower shutter speed.  The photos were taken from the 9th floor stairwell landing while the winds left from Hurricane Michael created weird scenes on the beach.  No damage in this area that I am aware of - wind only to about 50 mph to go with rain but not flooding.  More effect visible in large.
