rain is no excuse

Max has put on that accusing face again! Can't he see the rain pouring down in buckets!! My guilty "What!" doesn't impress him, and the baleful look follows me around the room. He knows full well that I will crack first, and sooner or later a walk,rain or no ,will have to be endured. Baleful look will disappear; replaced by insane bouncing about amongst the sodden autmn leaves. My turn to look baleful !!
