Local Friday afternoon market

We are about a km from the village, always a pleasant walk and more so this afternoon when visiting the covered market selling local produce much of it organic. A small affair which catered well for our needs. Great fun with the gorgeous boy attracting attention as he guarded John and introduced him to a number of locals, a fun way for John to meet people.

Afterwards we wandered along to the bar and sat outside chatting with an interesting woman who was English but lived in Germany. This is a lovely village full of character, wonder if we will return? We leave tomorrow to head for Bier in the Pyrenees. We will miss the boy.
