What a difference ...........

...............… a little mixing makes.  

On the left, W's attempt at spelt bread in the bread making machine, but he forgot to place the little mixing paddle (seen centre) in the bottom of the bread making pan.  On the right, a second, much more palatable looking, effort.

Meanwhile, I spent some time at work in my office, trying out the upgrade of our computer system, which is due to be applied in a couple of weeks.  And then went shopping on the way home.

W, in between baking bread, has started filling his shelves with books and magazines, whilst also adding to the already sizable pile of stuff for the charity shop, and also disposing of some paper and card in the recycling bin.

It's now gin o'clock, and W is making "roasted butternut squash with lentils and goats cheese" - except we don't have any butternut squash, so he is substituting sweet potato instead.
