Ancient Burial Site

Almost in the centre of the village and quite unbeknown to me until today, there exists an ancient stone age burial site consisting of 6 cairns. There were 10 in 1949 but building etc obliterated 4 of them before the authorities slapped an embargo on any further development in 1963. This is just behind the first of the two old barns I photographed a couple of weeks ago. 
Hame County has been inhabited for at least 7000 years. That's a long long time, going back to 5000BC.
