Swing Ride

It was a raining day So we decided to go the cinema this afternoon.  We saw the film of Neil Armstrong, First Man, starring Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy.  It was very good, tracing his rise as an astronaut to the 1969 moon landing.

After the film we went for a coffee then  took a look round the Mop, the Stratford fair which occurs twice a year as the Mop and the Runaway Mop.  It is only here for two days but takes over the centre of the town with food smells, loud music, lots of people and fairground rides, many of which look particularly scary, though they seemed to have plenty of customers.
