Where There is Tea, There is Hope

Stopped in Waterstones' cafe after some impromptu Christmas shopping, and trying on of boots for my Christmas present, and before going to my first tutoring session.

I think it went quite well. Considering how badly it could have gone. I had no idea how the student wanted to conduct the time; she usually did questions her previous tutor had prepared, but I hadn't got any past papers or anything. We went over a few topics which troubled her and her words said my explanations were clarifying things for her, even when her face did not. I also tried to get her to do a questions I couldn't do, which was interesting, and I've promised her an answer for next week so that's my spare time sorted until next Friday!
