Light and Shade....

.... and pink snow. We had strong south-east winds all day yesterday. At times it looked as if we had a snowstorm in our garden. It was our flowering cherry tree petals flying in the wind and settling in swathes of pale pink on the lawn. I love the cherry tree and feel so sorry that it’s lovely flowers do not last longer. Their beauty is fleeting. Maisie can be seen in the distance doing her regular check of our boundary.
