BNE Open House Day

The weather here is absolutely dreadful!  It hasn't really stopped us but it has made the day a little more challenging than we hoped!

This weekend is Brisbane Open House weekend and this is were various sites around the city open their doors for all access areas and allow photography (there is a photography comp as well) of the inside. We visited The Old Mill, Baptist Church and Parliament House.  Parliament House was the most interesting for me.  We also took in the botanical gardens in between heavy downpours of rain and found my blip, this wonderful Kookaburra.  
The weather is so bad now that we have lost our view completely and there is a weather warning in place.  Tomorrow we have more things planned but with the weather like it is and it is set for tomorrow, we might be slightly hampered!
